Public speaking is an important part of life, and the more we practice it, the easier it gets. This class will be a safe and encouraging place to learn how to communicate effectively and confidently. This class will cover a wide array of communication and speaking strategies, including presenting in front of an audience, creating multimedia presentations, giving demonstrations, practicing critical thinking and research skills, respectful debate, verbal & nonverbal communication, impromptu speaking, creative writing & thinking, and even the option to create a TedTalk. The goal of this class is to provide a supportive, fun, and engaging environment where we work together as a team to grow our confidence as speakers through diverse experiences!
