Set Design, Lighting, and Behind the Scenes

The objective of this class is to analyze a production’s needs, come up with set ideas, and develop & execute a production plan timeline. Once the set pieces and props are ready, come up with a lighting design for the set and its performers. We will also discuss production costuming and make-up.

The class structure will consist of lectures, demonstrations, in and out of class design work, presentations, and critiques of student work.
