Natalie Ferrara

Natalie attended college with an emphasis is telecasting and digital image creation. She worked for 12 years professionally in the tv/film production industry, including digital image creation and video compression for computers for companies such as GE Medical Systems Business TV, PBS, NBC, ESPN & UCLA Student Technology Center. She has had her film air on MTV, performed as talent in music videos, and worked as a make-up artist for The Nutcracker Ballet performances at Sandler Hall. She also an Emmy award for Best Technical Remote Team during her employment with ESPN on the X-games water sports events.

Natalie is also a writer and has won a Sliver Award for her poetry in a Vincent Price-sponsored contest, and has published with AARP. She has enjoyed perfoming at many community venues that offer poetry reading events. She also likes photography and videography, and her photography was selected as finalist for Slover Library’s 2017 Earth Day selection.

She has also provided instruction in recorder, piano, guitar, and songwriting for students in private, and group lessons (in-person & virtual). She has also taught at various co-ops in History, Drama, Music Appreciation, Language Arts, and Math.  She finds it very rewarding to be a part of a child’s learning experience.
