Hands-on Math

This class offers unique, hands-on math activities (How is math used in different careers? How do you use math to create art?), games (A modified escape room! Toilet paper Olympics!), and projects (Like using personal finance to plan a road trip or using geometry to design a city). This class is ideally suited for students who want to work with math in a fun way and those who enjoy incorporating hands-on activities & real-world projects into their learning. This class will include many engaging activities/projects that will span over multiple weeks for a more in-depth learning environment. Topics will include multiplication, division, decimals, fractions, geometry, personal finance, measurement, and more.
