Beginner Fiber Arts
High School and Adult (Ages 14-18+)
This class focuses on beginning crochet and knitting skills.
Crochet skills taught include: chain, single crochet, crochet in the round, increase and decrease, double crochet, and rudimentary pattern reading.
Knitting skills taught include: cast-on, knit, purl, increase and decrease methods, cable, and rudimentary pattern reading.
Students with knitting skills are welcome to join the class, please contact the instructor to verify it is what you want. Students with crochet skills are recommended to contact Ms. Katharine Johnson for instruction.
