Life After High School is a FREE semester-long course provided by the Hampton Roads Workforce Council’s NextGen Program. This course offers opportunities and resources for students to seek career information related to academic and occupational interest patterns. This assists students in forming a foundation for sound career decision-making. Students are guided through individual and group exercises that assist in identifying needs, values, wants, interests, and abilities.

The goal of the course is to help students develop a strong foundation for career and post-secondary education decision planning through career inventories, research on careers, learning from today’s professionals and personal reflection.
