Creative Writing

Creative writing will teach children to create imaginative stories through tools such as story cubes, roll-a-story, storyboards, hands-on charts, etc. At the end of the school year the children will have produced a book with stories they created together throughout the year.

Students will:

• Think creatively

• Work together to create a story

• Write, draw, and brainstorm to create stories

• Understand plot, setting, characters, and problem

• Listen to others ideas

• Use different tools to get to the same objective.
